PayPal Business Account / accepting CC payments on eBay

This has been probably talked about here before, but I cannot find it in old posts.

We can process credit cards from the website (at least we used to, I did not check right now). But this is not the case for eBay checkout:

Called PayPal and they explained to me that the only way to pay by credit card on eBay purchase is to send the buyer an invoice.

Now wondering ... what is the point of Business Account on eBay for seller if everyone pays PayPal -> PayPal ? I can link personal account to eBay checkout and if someone requests CC payment, send them invoice from Business Account.
