Payment was initiated and being processed through paypal

I first thought it was because he was transferring funds from his bank account but he says he is not. He is getting mad. I told him to pay again and wait about a week business days. What are some other problems which cause this.

Until you have the buyer's completed payment, you don't have to ship.

Have you checked that the PayPal email address in your listing is the correct one? If you have the correct address in your listings, then the problem is likely on the buyer's end.

Ask buyer if payment is showing as unclaimed in their PayPal account.

Have you changed an email address. The Sell your Item form stores PayPal email address and must be updated on listing after a change.

To check.. myebay sold.. you can check to see what email address was used by bringing up one of the items and clicking on "Sell Similar." Check the payments section and note the PP email address. Back out.

If you still have access the old email address, add and confirm it on your PayPal account and payment will appear.

If not ,ask buyer to cancel their payment. If buyer is reluctant to use send money to your correct email address , cancel the sale and set up a new Buy it Now . Use the buyer's ID for title and send the item # on posting. Unfortunately , all this must be explained to buyer.

As a new seller, Paypal will not credit your account with his payment for up to 21 days. The money is held in escrow against your performance.

Go to PP. If the buyer's name appears there, click on Print Shipping Label. If his payment has cleared, you will be able to print the label and PP will release enough from his payment to cover the cost.

You won't see the rest for a couple of weeks though.
