Potential buyer asked if once item is paid for if it could be sent to a relative's address in same country(not buyer's address )-is this OK

Just an inquiry  about the product  has been made so far

They said the item was intended as a gift for a relative.

Hi .. That request happens a lot and some sellers will while others decline. The prime reason for declining is compliance with PayPal Buyer Protection which requires shipping to the address showing on the payment details page , among others.

Yours seems to be low cost items and using economy shipping which would not meet PP's requirements in any case. Won't tell you to do but i probably would agree.

A Paypal member can add several addresses, within the same country, to his account.

These are usually called "gift addresses". Wanna guess why?

If the buyer adds the address where he want the item shipped to his account, the seller can safely ship there. The seller may wish to use Delivery Confirmation if the value of the item is above his comfort zone, but Seller Protection would still be available.
