Is anyone consistently successful in selling items?   It all seems very complicated and the answers section seems to list a lot of queries.

Yes, at first glance the Answer Section seems to be comprised of a lot of queries, - but if you click on them, there's also a lot of answers. 🙂

Loads of people are successful at selling on ebay.  If you are thinking about selling on ebay, you really ought to buy some things first.  It will help familiarize you with the process, and you will build up a bit of that all-important feedback.  Nothing extravagant, just a dozen or so small items to start, . . . paperclips, computer ink, small gifts for relatives, and selling supplies like bubble wrap or plastic envelopes, depending on what you plan to sell.

You will be far more successful if you know something about your product.  And as marketplaces have held through time immemorial, - buy low, sell high.  Most important you need to read about how to sell and create listings.  Ebay is written in very straight-forward clear language.  But you cannot really just up&sell without first gaining a working knowledge of ebay's policies and how it all works.  You could start by poking around in this link here:

Do you know of any retail store that consistantly sells every item on their shelves?

Whether on ebay on out in the real tangible world, not everything sells. What you may think would be a great seller, could turn out to be a flop (just like Facebook stock). There are no guarantees.

Non paying buyers deserve unpaid item strikes.
