WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AUCTION STYLE & FIXED PRICE LISTINGS WHEN SELLING

An auction listing is where the price is determined by the highest bidder.  Generally limited to  7 day duration

A fixed price listing is where the price is predetermined by the seller. Generally offered for 30 days or until the listing is cancelled (GTC)

Some auction listings also offer the "Buy-it-Now" option where a buyer may decide to pay the higher price (Buy-it-Now) instead of bidding at the lower price.
