Any place that you sell merchandise has some form of "expenses" that
must be covered. When you list with e-Bay you agree to e-Bay's terms.
Rather than paying a higher consignment fee, e-Bay spreads it out a bit.
If you go to a flea market you rent a table. A local hobby shop (here)
charges a consignment charge of 40%. If I want to sell there, I have to
adjust my minimum selling price so I don't loose "my shirt". For selling on
e-Bay, you need to do the same. Adjust your minimum selling price to
cover your costs and make some profit. If the merchandise that you offer
(I checked out your listings) is available elsewhere at same or lower prices,
then you may have to select "other" merchandise to put on e-Bay that can
provide higher profits to you.
