Did you buy from a Canadian dropshipper whose products will actually come into Canada from the USA or overseas? Duty and sales tax are assessed on such imports.
If this was the case, did the seller give the location of the imported product or did he use his own location? This would be grounds for an Item Not As Described dispute, if the seller is unwilling to cancel the transaction and refund your entire payment.
