PayPal is the preferred payment method for ebay.  Prior to bidding/buying can ask seller if they would accept a Post Office money order (easy for seller to cash). Some will.

Hi...Also keep in mind if the seller does accept a different type of payment, they will not ship item until payment has cleared.

Buyers can offer to pay in other ways, cash, cheque, and the preferred International Postal Money Order, which can be cashed at the PO counter, unlike other MOs which have to be cleared by the seller's bank.

Ask the seller about alternatives BEFORE bidding.
