where do we have to put the apartment number?

I have a problem that I ordered a skirt and I wrote my shipping address without the apartment number. What should I do?

If this was for the item purchased on May 17 there isn't much that you can do if the seller has already shipped it.  Is it marked as shipped in your purchase history?  The package will probably be sent back to them eventually but that could take months and I wouldn't count on the seller letting you know if they get it back. 

Before you purchase anything else, make sure that you enter your correct address in your ebay and paypal information.

If the seller hasn't shipped, ask him to write your apartment number on the shipping label. That won't change the address if he's concerned about losing Seller Protection.
