Basically what I was thinking too. Reason for posting. I do wish eBay had NOT removed the disclaimers related to customs delays. It's there, but majority of buyers go by eBay's estimate vs the possibility there is a valid reason for something being late. It's like a seller getting dinged when something is delayed because of a forest fire being on the route. Oye!!!
But even a few a few buyers were to check out they might not be soo quick to jump the gun when it comes to seeing "weird messages" in the tracking log.
