shipping quote from canada to US said my zip code not valid

I was going to bid on a item that is located in Canada, I live in the US. When I put in my zip code to get a shipping quote it tells me my zip code is not valid. What's up with that.

Or contact the seller directly, he may not have the correct dimensions for the service he plans to use.

He should be grateful for your query, because many other US customers may be rejecting his products for the same reason.
