A charge appeared on my credit card for a purchase I didn't make.
Why is it impossible to contact Customer Service? You send me round and round to a series of irrelevant articles.
A screen shot of this communication will be forwarded to Better Business Bureau.

The first thing you should probably be doing is freezing your card and calling your bank.
In the eBay help menus I think there's an option to request a callback. I don't remember exactly where it is. I don't think there's any way to actually call eBay directly in Canada unless you have an anchor store.

These are the eBay employees who are well trained and have some authority to help.
Do NOT go to the phones, which are staffed by a sub-contractor somewhere in Utah. (The callbacks are fine. Those come from the community.ebay address.

The BBB is a franchised operation set up city by city to promote local businesses.
They do mediate customer problems, locally, but have no legal authority.
And the businesses pay to be members of the BBB, although most franchises have a decent reputation.
But they have no more authority than a TV "judge" program.
EBay has headquarters in the USA, runs some of their financials out of Switzerland, and their payments system is handled by a company in the Netherlands.
Full disclosure: We were members of the BBB from the early 80's until we retired in 2014.

You have feedback from one seller this month. Is it possible that is the transaction that they are charging for?
