This is a pretty good HTS code loohup site.   Canada Post has a pretty good one as well but some sites handle some things better than others!  Another arrow for the quiver.

I know I saw email about the codes being mandatory soon (maybe it was July?!) but couldn't remember if it was for all international, just Europe, or where. Is it for US shipments too? I've sent some packages to US this month and forgot about adding it but they still seem to be processing through customs okay.

I'll have to look through the postings, I know someone had posted all the details before and I made some notes but can't find them (no surprise if you saw my desk).

I think that was Europe, the US doesn't or at least for under $800.
