No longer able to speak with an eBay agent over the phone?

I had my anchor store support number I used for 5-6 years that I tried calling this morning.

Usually I can speak to an actual human within 30 sec but now after 20 minutes of trying every combination of choices on the phone, there doesn't seem to be any way of speaking with someone...

If there a new number I need to call or another method to get help on a very specific problem?

I don't think there is a number you can call them any more but you can use the "Have us call you" and they do call back. To get that message you have to go to one of the question mark icons on right side of page - I know they have them when you go to "Payment Summary" or "Drafts" - you don't have to be calling about either of those things but at least you can get to the "have us call you" icon. Help & contact at top of page will only bring you to virtual chat, they will sometimes call you back from there but I found the question icon quicker.

As others often recommend you can message them from Facebook and Twitter but I haven't used that way myself. Good luck!

The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.
