Policy Warning when trying to answer customer inquiry - eBay stop bull**bleep**ting

I had an inquiry from a customer today who wants to order a whole bunch of parts and had some questions. Regardless of what I answer, eBay shows the following warning:

"Please remove contact info. If you proceed, you’ll be charged a final value fee, even if the item does not actually sell. See Policy.

{e71819-1112485x}"

Even when I go to the buyer's profile page, and try to contact them that way, eBay shows the warning:

"We can’t send your message because it may include contact info. We review all messages and repeat attempts could lead to an account restriction.

{e71819-1112491x}"

- I have NO WAY to answer the potential customers question
- they will think I am rude and don't answer inquiries

- they will never come back for other products

- eBay **bleep**ed up my customer relationship

Might be the EAN number that is causing the alert.

I would agree, the system is flagging the EAN as a phone number.
