For sellers who use Auctiva, I noticed today a new announcement that will be of interest if you were concerned about what will happen in 2017 when eBay removes all active content.
Like most Auctiva subscribers, I use the scrolling gallery, and it seems they will be re-designing it to comply:
"To improve mobile shopping and security, eBay will stop displaying active content in listings starting spring 2017. This means your listings will still be active, but the features containing active content will not display.
This includes JavaScript, Flash, form actions and plug-ins. Currently, some Auctiva features contain these, but don't worry about a thing. We're already developing compatible features that will be available long before the policy takes effect.
We'll let you know as soon as these are available so you can update your listings, including Good 'Til Canceled."
