It does me no service to list in CAD since I can not access the funds with my Paypal Debit/Mastercard.

Sure it's great not to pay the exchange when I ship funds up to my bank account but that's why I keep one of my sites selling in CAD.

The card gives me a 1% cash refund on all credit card type transactions.

Let's do a little rounded off math for the fun of it.

Yesterday's bill at Canada Post came to $27.65 CAD

It shows in Paypal as $19.79 USD

Currency converter today says. 27.65 CAD=19.81 USD

I lose 2 cents and gain 27 cent with the 1% rebate.

I'm not paying any exchange at all, I'm making money!

Nothing like a little bit of exchange slight of hand to obscure facts.

Todays currency converter says: 27.65 CAD = 19.49 USD

Off the Hook here.

I just want to say thank you so much to eBay for fixing the glitch in where the currency switched to CAD when you tried to sell similar.

It made my last effort to list new items so much more pleasant.

Ripped the anxiety right out of the equation.

@ypde_dennis

The exchange rate after the fact has nothing to do with that of the moment until people stop gambling on money.

Hi everyone,

Due to the length of time that has passed since this thread began I have locked it from future replies. If this is still an issue that warrants discussion, don't hesitate to begin a new thread!
