HOW LONG DOES SELLER HAVE TO WAIT BEFORE OFFERING SECOND CHANCE OFFER

I sold an item and the buyer hasn't paid, and hasn't contacted me.  There were two bids on the item.  How long do I wait before I offer second chance offer to the unsuccessful bidder?

HOW LONG DOES SELLER HAVE TO WAIT BEFORE OFFERING SECOND CHANCE OFFER

Since you don't want two paying buyers for one item, you should open an Unpaid Item Dispute on the winner. You can do this as soon as four days after the winning bid.

Then you wait four days for the Dispute to complete. During this time your buyer may suddenly regain conciousness and pay. Say thank you and ship.

If he doesn't, you get your fees back, he gets a Strike and you are free to offer a Second Chance to the losing bidder or to re-list.

Second Chances are really best saved for listings where you have multiple items. KISS.
