Has anyone else encountered shipping problems with the EAG programe?

Three times my buyers have been told that I dont ship to the USA even tho I have shipped hundreds of items.

Spoden to Ebay customer service more than 5 times in total - no one can explain the issue.

One insisted that it is because I am not enrolled in Global ship in Canada! Another said it is my shipping preferences. Does anyone one know why my EAG buyers in the USA are being told that I dont ship to the USA from Canada ?

There is no global shipping program from Canada so customer service is definitely confused.

You have 2 listings in the AG program, have you had problems with both listings? How long ago?

Using a US address I was able to add both sneakers to my cart and it looked like everything was going to go thorough.

If you have the shipping costs to the USA (or any other country) specified in your Shipping that listing will turn up on the customer's site.

And since few US members ever come to this site, your listings are being seen in the USA.

I checked your Vans and those leather pants and they do.

So I'm gonna go with the "customer attempting to scam" scenario.

If your customer can't see the ad on dotCOM, how did he know you would sell?

At any rate, when my overseas customer,  say in Singapore, sees "Seller may not ship to your country. Contact seller for shipping information" I just send him an invoice through eBay.

I occasionally have sent a second invoice to eBay's invoice, which might annoy some buyers, but most are gracious.

The customer pays the second invoice.

The phone reps do not work for eBay so don't bother with them. They work for a subcontractor out of Utah.

Many struggle with concepts like "Canada is not part of the USA".

The Philippino reps are slightly better becuase they are aware that not all the world in the USA.

And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.

If these listings aren't showing up with US shipping information, they shouldn't be showing up in searches on the .com site, where these users are likely looking.  I'm wondering if these "buyers" are trying to play you and somehow get you to ship outside of the Authentication Program.

Did you check the listings to see if US shipping shows up for you?
