This catalog may not have information for all books..... an ISBN is unique for a book and should not be different on eBay Canada or eBay.com unless the book was published in the same format by different publishers of books.
@bluedawnboutique, you might want to note the publishers of the books you're having issues with. A lot of publishers have gone under or have been absorbed into the operations of larger publishers over the past couple of decades. Stoddart and its parent General Publishing were pretty big players in the Canadian publishing industry until it went under in 2002. Clarke, Irwin was purchased by Thomas Nelson that same year.
Also, some books have different publishers in different territories. Harry Potter books, for example, are handled by different publishers in Canada, the US and the UK, and eBay's catalogue may not reflect this.
