New to selling on eBay.. shipping question

Hello, 

I just got my first sale today and am confused about printing a Canada Post shipping label. I went to my Paypal account to print out a label thinking that I could use the money that is on hold to pay for shipping. Is there a way to do this?

Until the funds have been released you would have to use your secondary source for payment of postage. (Apologies if I have stated that incorrectly. See tip at bottom of link. Shipping standard is based on what you used so for example if you show you ship with in 24 hours, you need to ship within that time period.)

PayPal account>transaction details of that sale via summary/account activity>click on Print shipping label>create shipping label>click on PayPal Shipping from the 2 options available: ((netParcel Shipping and PayPal Shipping)).

Note: Sorry, I do not know if this process works for new sellers when funds are on hold.

That did not solve my problem. Looking to use the $ on hold to pay for the shipping.

Any PayPal Funds on hold cannot be used for any purpose, no matter whether a new seller or not. However, if there are additional sufficient funds available in the PayPal account those "might" be able to be used, but as mentioned I don't know the process for new sellers as the various rules now in place for new sellers never existed for us longtime eBay sellers back in the day when we were new sellers....
