Sellers are required to have a bank account for deposit of any sales monies, so if you plan to list/sell items on eBay you must provide eBay with a chequing account to which those funds can be deposited. You do not have to use any current personal banking account as you can set up a separate bank account solely for the purpose of eBay transactions.
Please be sure you read and understand e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g about selling on eBay BEFORE you dive in to listing a bunch of items. Also be aware that as a new seller you will be a target for scammers.
