On second thought, when I look at the invoice, it's a "fee," not a "tax," so I guess that's reasonable if Ebay processed the sale. Sigh.

Re your last question: I used tracked packet, I think. I didn't use any of the services that send it extra fast. The tracking shows it got to where it was going quite quickly.
