Toward the end it mentions a buyer malaise that I haven't noticed. I've enjoyed summer record-breaking sales for the last 3 months. Now, sadly, my eBay store sits nearly empty. I just popped in to the local consignment store to make an appointment to bring in some merchandise and the proprietor said that there storage room is full and there's a waiting list of 25 people.

EBay's problem is that it's so big that it can't help but make Macro decisions and Macro decisions are most often f**ked up.

The only way eBay is going to see a return to auction listings is to make them affordable again.

Thanks for posting those articles, it is what we all believed, shocking to hear the store close count is now at 700 within next 2 months i suppose it will rise sharply but time will tell
