BUYERS LOSES OUT ON 2ND AUCTION- FAIR REASON TO NOT PAY FOR WINNING 1ST AUCTION ?

I sold an item by Auction to a Buyer.

The Buyer wanted a second item I also had on Auction.

I saw a Mistake in the Second Auction Listing - there was No Reserve - so I cancelled Second Auction with 12 Hours to go.

The First Item was Sold about 5 hours later to buyer.

Now the Buyer Claims he can legitimately Cancel First Auction.

Is this a Legiimate Reason to Cancel and Not Pay for First Purchase?

No, but do you really want to send something to someone who is unhappy before its even in the mail?  Not like you can do anything if he doesnt pay anyway

Doesn't matter if the reason is legit. Offer the cancellation and make a deal with this person on a BIN for a combined listing of what they want.
