On eBaydotCA , you have the choice of listing any of your items in either Canadian or US dollars.
This is the only site where this is possible.
You make your choice on the Sell Your Item form about six lines down.
If your item is being offered internationally, potential customers on other sites will see the asking price listed in whichever currency you chose as well as their own.
So if you list in US dollars, Canadians will see US/CDN, Brits will see US/sterling, Germans will see US/euro, etc.
Generally, unless you plan to sell only in Canada, it is recommended to use US dollars because everyone in the world understands them and Americans, the richest economy in the world, understand nothing else.
