It depends on the seller and what they accept, but generally, most sellers only take PayPal (though even if they do accept debit, I wouldn’t recommend giving your bank card number to strangers on the Internet, not only for security reasons, but you would not be covered from fraud or other problems).
You should however be able to create a PayPal account that links to your bank account just like your debit card does. Is there something preventing you from using PayPal?
