Ok so i started up my ebay again made a new paypal account and forgot to change my payment email on ebay. A few purchases where made and the money sent to my email thats not attached to paypal anymore which i cannot get into because hotmail suspended it because of a bot hack that was sending out spam. Sent buyer a cancellation request and explained the situation. If he agrees to it does the unclaimed money automatically go back to his paypal account?
Talk to the folks at paypal on how best to handle this.
Personally, I would have first tried adding the old email address (even if the email account is dead) to the list of emails associated with my paypal account.

No, you'll just receive a final value fee credit if he agrees to the cancellation request.
