EBay Removed The FB I Left for Seller

This is not my first experience with this type of thing.

I don't leave NFB, but for about 1% of my purchases I do leave low DSRs.

I mean........... if you sell to me you are pretty much guaranteed PFB and 4 5 Star Ratings.

You really have to mess up to get anything less.

Recently I purchased an item and it arrived smashed.

The seller forced me to return it before he'd refund and then claimed it didn't arrive and I had to escalate the case.

I just left PFB with a comment that it arrived broken and I had to return it prior to a refund.

I left 3 low DSRs and a high DSR for Shipping time.

That FB was removed quicker than you can blink.

There was no time for anyone to review it.

It was an automatic computer driven removal.

Odd.............

EBay would prefer that you leave negative or neutral feedback , rather than a false positive.

Many buyers only look at the feedback percentage and false positives skew that result.

Of course, they don't do it without a complaint from the seller.

I know.

I think it was removed because of the low DSRs.

I mean the wording of my FB was not something a computer would have picked up on.

It  just stated the facts without any nastiness.

I know that some don't care for false positives.............. but as a buyer I'm not going to hurt myself by leaving NFB either.

Just thought it was odd and interesting that it was zapped so quickly.
