Hi, I recently sold 3 items but the buyer backed out. E bay still charged me the final value fee. Is there a way to get that money back?

I was charged a final value fee last month even though the sale didn't go through and I eneded up relisting the items. How do I get that money backfrom e bay?

Hi kenbay ..there are 2 ways to recover fees..

A mutual cancellation where both buyer and seller have amicably agreed not to proceed..

Seller must be sure buyer will accept when ask by eBay otherwise fees are lost.

An unpaid item dispute.. buyer doesn't pay , can close after 4 days , you get your fees back and buyer gets a well deserved strike against their account..

If you choose to open the unpaid item dispute or offer a mutual cancelation request, you only have 32 days from the time the listing ended to take action.
