How can I see the Buy it now option on my selling page when choosin Auction type selling??

Hi everyone, 

  I'm selling a few items and I've chosen the Auction type selling with the option to Buy it now for buyers who do not wish to wait for the auction. I checked the box pertaining to Buy it now option, but it doesn't seem to appear on my pages. In fact, a potential buyer asked me if it was possible to buy it now and then realized it didn't show. Is this normal? Has anyone encountered this, and if not, am I doing something wrong?

 The Buy It Now price is available until someone bids on the item or the reserve price is met. When the Buy It Now option disappears, the auction-style listing proceeds normally. In a few categories, the Buy It Now option may continue to be available after the first bid for a limited time.
