How do you get customer to sign insurance claim ?

Some 3rd party insurance companies require document with claim information and customer signature. What if customer refuses to sign this and simply files INR with PayPal? Paid for insurance but cannot claim it.

Bernie, Endicia does not offer USPS insurance. If I was paying for my postage/insurance at the counter, I would be paying 5% extra and spending 1hr doing it. My usual drop is approx 80-100 parcels twice a week, that would be 2hrs. Despite the bugs and occasional blackouts, Endicia is a godsend, well worth the $15/month.

I heard USPS insurance is bad with a high percentage of claims denied for mystery reasons. Also USPS insurance is 3x the cost.

Ok, I only ship Canada Post and create labels on-line, and they come with $100 insurance.
