When a buyer does not pay for your item, how long do you wait to relist it?

It's a little more complex than that.

After 4 days (96 hours) the seller can open an Unpaid Item Dispute and close it 4 days later.

The seller gets her FVF fees back and the deadbeat gets a Strike which makes it harder to bid and buy on eBay.

Neither can leave feedback. This is a benefit for the seller, who can be badly hurt by negative feedback.

Then the seller can relist the item.

And go to your Seller Preferences. You can set your Preferences to Block automatically bidders with Strikes and without active Paypal accounts, the two groups most likely to become deadbeats.
