How to Pay for US items to Get the Most Bang for My Buck???

This is a bit of twister:

I have Canadian and US dollars in my paypal account.

I also have items I have to pay for in US dollars.

Am I further ahead using my Canadian paypal dollars to pay for my items or funding via credit card in relation to exchange rates?

You still have to pay the exchange. PP is pretty much the same as CC.

Thank You.  I don't often have Canadian dollars and it thew my system off a bit.

I may as well pull my Canadian money out of PP and pay via CC then.

That way I don't have to actually have pay for a month.

Why wouldn't you use your U.S. $ balance so that there was no exchange rate?

I thought that if you had a balance in your Paypal account, that was the only option that they gave to pay for an item. Has that changed?

Re: How to Pay for US items to Get the Most Bang for My Buck???

I was only asking about the Canadian dollars.

The choices are:

a) Pay for US items with Canadian dollars directly from PP,

or

b) Transfer the Canadian money to my bank account and pay with Canadian dollars via Credit Card through PP.

I have no idea which is better for me so I'll blindly do as advised.  🙂
