I have a large item to post, not sure how I should handle the shipping costs.

can the buyer be responsible for picking up the item?  I'm in Canada and it's table and chairs so costly to ship?

Yes the Sell Your Item form does allow for a Pickup or even a Pickup only choice for shipment.

 However, if you are only selling locally, then KJJ or CL might be better choices.

If you go for Pickup, you are allowed to demand cash on pickup. Do NOT accept Paypal on picked up items. Ignoring the question of PP fees, if you cannot show Proof of Delivery, a sneaky buyer could say he did not recieve the product and get his money back. Cash only.

If you want  to sell over a larger area, phone a few shipping companies to get an idea of the actual cost. They will need weight and dimensions. Does the set break down to a flat pack or at least smaller?
