I have an account but cannot sign in because it says my registration is not completed.

I have an account but cannot sign in because it says my registration is not completed. But when I go back to registration, I cannot RE-register because my account already exists. A real catch-22!

Should I start all over with a different email, differnet username, different password, or can this be fixed?
