I was told outbid, but could somebody tell what on earth happened on the auction?

my ebay id is tl_canada, I bid 100 dollors and think I was the winner,  but was told outbid.

please look at the bid time of  winner whose ebay ID is  c***6,  why  the time he bid was 4 hours before the auction is end.

but the real time is 18:45 PDT

could somebody tell what happened to this auction please?

This is what I see...you both bid $100 but he bid $100 before you making his bid the winner as he was first.

c***6 placed one bid of $100.00 at 14:40:07 PDT.  eBay's automatic bidding placed that bid at $63.00, $1.00 above the previous high bidder, l***z, who then increased their bid 5 times in a row, to their max bid of $73.00.  With c***6 still the high bidder, at $74.00, there were 4 further bids, with yours being the last.  You bid $100.00, but because c***6 had placed their $100.00 bid at an earlier time than you, they won.  If you had bid $100.01 or more, you would have been the winner.

Never bid an obvious whole number.  1 cent more would have won it but a figure like $101.27 increases your chances for a small extra price, since you'd beat the obvious $100 and the crafty 'odd number bids' up to $101.26.
