If I pay the day of how long does seller have to start to mail it to me?

when i win an item and pay right away how soon should the seller send it??  I won an item and a week later it stilll hasnt been shipped yet.

The item may have been sent but the seller does not bother to tick ebay boxes. What matters is if the item arrives.
