Why does eBay allow sellers to misrepresent the value of coins and why is there nobody at this joke known as eBay [should be eRipyouoff] to contact about this or any other problems. Customer support is non-existent so how do you notify them or should I just tell those responsible for licensing that this joke works in congress with fraud artists? Listing a coin for 8 times it actual value and trying to sell this on the basis of "a phoney grading" should be something these clowns take seriously but they obviously don't? Ontario and Canadian law does not allow this and both seller and host can be charged unless they do something proactive!

In effect the seller is offering a 'raw' coin. They are allowed to call it BU (which it is), they do not refer to any non permitted TPG company and although there is a numerical grade written on the packet this is not a policy breach, just someone's opinion. They do not refer to a numerical grade in the listing. Indeed, they don't include any description at all.

The price is silly, but there is nothing to stop a seller asking silly prices except the futility of the exercise.

Just hit the back button and bypass the seller.
