Kudos to Fed-Ex

We usually read about issues shippers have, be it Canada Post or one of the courier companies. Just thought I would give a tip of my hat to Fed-Ex. Details, shipped from Toronto this past Wednesday. Picked up here about noon. Delivered to buyer in Pennsylvania this morning (Friday) at 9:22 a.m. Apparently the stars were all aligned for this one.

I wish Canada Post could accomplish that!!
Also I see that UPS is now giving US only Powersellers 23% off shipping when using the eBay/Paypal shipping tool online. Again, I sure wish Canada Post would do that.

Once again, superb delivery time, basic ground service, from Toronto to Ohio in the States. Large 24 x 18 x 12 (inches) 39 lbs, picked up from my place (we pay $6/week for the privilege of having daily pick-up) and, with our discount, for considerably less and considerably quicker than using Canada Post Expedited Service.

Let's hope they're as good in the freight department - they just picked up a shipment from a supplier that I've been waiting for for 3 MONTHS.

Absolutely love FedEx Ground service to the US. Ground can get anywhere in the continental USA in 5 business days and is always less expensive than even Canada Post Xpresspost which has trouble making it in 5-6 business days. Plus, the local FedEx drop-centre is across the street so we don't even need to spend the $6 per week for the privilege of using Ground service.

It's the only service we recommend to US buyers now when they are looking for Express service.

The only downside is the $2.50 residential surcharge they apply which is fairly common for other carriers as well. But if you work that into the price you quote your customer they don't see the charge.

Highly recommend this service for Canadians as the shipping times have improved just over the last year. Shipping to Chicago or New York from the Ottawa area is 2-3 business days and for about $15-$18 for a shipment about 1 to 4 kg.

I was happy with them until they started losing and mis-delivering my parcels.

Now I find that USPS works for me.

Canada post offers 25% off expedited service and also offers a flat rate box. the rates are quite reasonable and it is all air delivery with tracking.
