Hey Branded! is it possible to turn a profit on these things?  Would any other sellers risk on these, and what criteria you usually go by?

Yes for sure it is but It is all based on titles ... Selling movies and games is alot of work because of this ... i have never in 5 years bought a title without checking out prices it sells for ... Lot of work but you will always find those games and movies that you can make 5-10-20 $$ off of specially when buying for ..50-$1

Just so you know I say this because with many years of experience i can tell you i have gotten alot of Free movies that I had a hard time making money off of or just selling them at all...
