Hi All.
Well the 18th has arrived. I listed a few items forgetting the new increases and then realized it.
I found a new auciton site based on the ebay format.
Zero listing fees and 2% final value fee.

Here's the only info I could find on store closures:

Number of ebay stores as of 2/16/05 124,900 (went down from the 15th)
Number of ebay stores as of 2/17/05 124,575 (down 325)

Anyone recall how many stores there were a month ago?

Further examination of eBay auction counts on the QuoteTracker site indicates that that the declines of boycott day were no different than the declines of the previous days.

Monday's 5 cent listing day made for the highest auction count day in eBay's history by economy starved sellers. [I'm still waiting to recieve notice of this offer] The average auction count in 2004 was about 12 million.

Sellers appear to have little evident aptitude for coordinated action. (sigh)
