Pay half for the item now and the rest when I pick up

I recently won a bid for some speakers which listed Pick up only.

My concern is that I pay for the whole item before hand and can not pick up the item afterward. I have asked the seller for their address and phone number but they are reluctant to provide me with the information. This makes me concerned, if I pay for the item how can anyone confirm that I received it. Will I be scammed out of my money?

Ask ebay for their contact informtion.

You are going to drive down to Vermont from Ontario

to pick these up.

You will probably get checked out by customs on the

way back and have to pay the taxes on them.
