Seal who killed Osama breaks his silence because:

He lost his health insurance and pension benefits when he quit the military (early) after 16 years of service, and couldn't find a decent job or make a dignified living.
In his years with the military, O'Neill had a spectacular record, with 52 decorations including two Silver Stars, four Bronze Stars with Valor, a Joint Service Commendation Medal with Valor, three Presidential Unit citations, and two Navy/Marine Corps Commendations with Valor. He completed more than 400 combat missions and killed more than 30 targets to become one of the most decorated SEALs ever. Three of stories involving his exploits were made into movies although he was never publicly identified by name. "I support him in everything he is doing," his father told Daily Mail. "What are you supposed to do when you come out of the military after such service — become a greeter at Walmart?"

Indeed, one of the jobs the military offered to get for O'Neill after he quit was to deliver beer.

Military are supposed to keep quiet about everything as a matter of security. They can be sued for revealing anything even if the Gov't that orders them to keep quiet treats them like a nobody. Generals and other in positions of authority write books about their lives, etc. but the actual fighters can't.

If you join the military you are literally giving your life to your country - even if you aren't killed in battle and even if they abandon you after you've served. Both in Canada and the U.S.

The Current Harper Federal Gov't in Canada has argued in court when gutting Veteran benefits that Canada has no moral obligation to Veterans in court.

Personally I feel that our Country does owe our veterans a moral obligation to support them after they've fought for and supported Canada.

If there's anyone in this country that feels that we don't owe veterans anything please speak out.

--------------------

The Gov't is now going to come out with another new veterans bill because of all the complaints.

Seal who killed Osama breaks his silence because:

From 2010 to 2015, Canadian Heritage has either spent or budgeted almost $40 million on programs relating to the World Wars and the War of 1812, according to information obtained by the opposition Liberals through an access to information request.

National Defence has set aside at least $27.5 million for war commemoration from now until 2020.

Plus, Veterans Affairs has budgeted about $80 million over the next two years for remembrance activities that include the World Wars.

In 2011, the government said it would cut more than $226 million from Veterans Affairs’ budget.

So veterans are wondering if the Gov't is more interested in photo OPS with the dead than they are with them?

Canada Post used to give preferential treatment to ex servicemen when hiring, but now Canada Post is on the verge of extinction.

There's no real "wondering" needed, it's reality. My father was wounded twice during WW2 but because the shrapnel never hit a bone he got no pension. The problem was the wounds did cut arteries and veins and he always had problems with the one leg and it eventually cost him his leg. However another soldier we knew, same war, hurt his back, not that one would ever know, he was able to do anything. How did he hurt his back? Well he and some other soldiers had gone to sleep in a bombed our house and one of them had the idea of getting some beer. So they searched the area and found a pub and stole a couple of kegs of beer. On the way up the staircase of the bombed out house carrying a keg of beer he fell all the way down the staircase. Instant pension for the rest of his life and he lived to about 83.

Soldiers are less and less being used for what they were intended for originally. A soldier was meant to protect their country but now they are being used too often as muscle men and women for big business. Sure they and the public are given the story that they have gone to "save the people' and there is a microscopic element of truth in that, but if we did deep enough we find the real reasons. This is not the Magnificent Seven riding into town to save the villagers and then leaving empty handed when the job is done. These are soldiers leaving empty handed while big business and politicians move in to do what they really came there for. At one time the greed and use of soldiers for that greed came from kings and queens but now it's business and politicians. Then when the soldier is done being used, they are forgotten about because taking care of them is not 'cost effective'. I also read two articles a few months ago and one said that 27% of US soldiers return and cannot find jobs. Many are on the street. No stats of course for Canada. Also in the US one recruitment office was asked to leave a college when the college finally clued in that what the recruiting officers were telling the students were lies and they were only preying on the disenfranchised students promising them training and careers when they joined and for a majority that never came to reality.

Average ordinary people no matter where they are, do not want war. But they are lied to and manipulated by politicians and big business and other power hungry people. It's a deadly game and people are just pawns. It is no secret that psychopaths are drawn to powerful positions in society from political to business to military leadership and they fill the definition well..............

"Superficially charming, psychopaths tend to make a good first impression on others and often strike observers as remarkably normal. Yet they are self-centered, dishonest and undependable, and at times they engage in irresponsible behavior for no apparent reason other than the sheer fun of it... Psychopaths routinely offer excuses for their reckless and often outrageous actions, placing blame on others instead."

Dr Martha Stout a clinical psychologist at Harvard said: "the terms psychopath and sociopath conjured up image of mass murderers and serial killers. As it turns out, the majority of sociopaths/psychopaths never kill anyone with their own hands, nor do they end up in prison,". A smart sociopath can avoid prison and find other, less conspicuous ways to satisfy his or her lust for dominating and controlling others, and what better way than through politics and big business?"
