You'd think so, but at this point just you and the seller are talking.
If you want the full refund, you would definitely get it by going for a Item Not As Described Dispute. However, you would be required to return the item to the seller with Confirmation of Delivery to get that refund.
Check how much that would be at canadapost.ca. You'll be surprised at how expensive it will be.
You could offer to send the seller a picture of the damaged item since that would confirm your problem. Many sellers will accept that.
Some won't.
The seller is probably aware that you can leave feedback for 60 days after purchase. At that time you can also leave Detailed Seller Ratings which are much more important. The normal DSR is Five Stars the lowest is ONE STAR. Ratings under 4.3 make it more difficult for a seller to list and sell on eBay.
