Actually 2 very simple things for eBay to do is to:

1) Retire this insane Global Shipping Program (GSP), it is purely a bogus scam by eBay to get more $$$ that way.

2) Retire the final value fees on shipping costs.  It is totally unfair to the sellers as we don't make profits on shipping costs, we often have to pay the difference due to dollar par which we cannot forsee.

It is unfair to pose the final value fees on shipping costs just because on the base on some (few) sellers who impose very high postage charges and many of us sellers end up paying for it, that is unfair.  And of course it is a conspiracy on part of eBay to get more $$$ that way.

If eBay really care about the sellers, then retire the final value fees on shipping costs, period or we are seeing the true colors of eBay in mostly in green colorings like dollar signs in their eyes.  It may sound harsh but that is how I am seeing eBay that way.

Those 2 things here are very simple things for eBay to do but unless eBay has too much green colorings in their eyes like dollar signs, then we are stuck with those forever, hopefully not!!

"2 very simple things for eBay to do"

Sorry but neither will happen.

1) According to the folks at eBay.com, the GSP is highly successful (from their American perspective)

2) FVF on the total value of the transaction is now a standard in the industry (eBay copied Amazon).  There is no way eBay will increase FVF to eliminate the fees on shipping charges.  It would only facilitate fee avoidance and represent no savings to buyers. Considering that 50% of the total value of eBay transactions is with "free shipping" - meaning no FVF are added to sellers - and buyers prefer "fre shipping" - eBay will not change their winning formula.
