Hey Ebay you need to add a new feature to ebay. Buyers should have the ability to leave review / rating on a product they purchased at any time. Not time limit on when they can leave a review on a item. One of the items i purchased in dec of 2015 has been nothing but a pile of junk. Im still waiting on some warranty parts from the seller they have been nothing but a pc of work. Even the description has changed on the product not that it was even close to being correct. With the nature of the product and cannot wait 3 months to sent it out get a full refund and order a new system im now stuck with this pc of junk.

If we were able to leave a review of the product after we had a chance to use it them more people like me would not get screwed out of $300 for a  product that does not even perform close to its description.

Also get a **bleep** email address so we can contact ebay this contact & help section is a joke.

Oh yuck. What a pain.

Most eBay sellers *are not buying from the manufacturer. They are not 'authorized dealers'  and any warranty from the manufacturer would be handled directly by the manufacturer.

However, since many of the eBay sellers are offering refurbished or returned goods, there may not be any warranty or the manufacturer may not accept the warranty because there is not a clear trail between the plant and the eBay seller.

Your seller may be delaying you because he knows he can't do a darn thing for you.

While eBay has a deadline for Claims (not as described in this case) that runs for only 30 days after delivery, Paypal's Buyer Protection runs for six months from payment.

So if you bought on Dec 15, they can't/won't help you. But if you bought on the 31st-- get your patootie over to PP.

They hide their Resolution Centre under Tools at the top of your account page.

Deadlines are very important.

And you don't want a repair or a replacement. You want your money back. PP will probably require that your return the unwanted product to the seller, with Confirmation of Delivery.

If you are too late for either of those, you can try for a chargeback from the credit card you attached to your PP account. But most have only a six month claim period too.

*Generally this is not a problem, because the buyer knows he is trading low price for reliable service.
