how do you change shipping once an item is purchased..and you filled it out before?

If you want to do it for an item that you sold you can send another invoice but change the shipping amount before you send it. When you change the amount, do not click on recalculate.

But if you are asking because a seller who uses the global shipping program is willing to send you the item directly rather than through the program...they cannot change the invoice but they can send a totally new invoice through Paypal.

The seller cannot increase the amount he advertises as the shippingcost.

In theory, you can't even reduce it, although I doubt you'd ever get a complaint about that.

If the buyer requests another form of shipping that will be faster or more secure, the two of you can agree to an increased shipping fee.

If the buyer request another form of shipping that will be cheaper (and usually slower) the seller can agree, but would be an idiot to do so, since this is a common scam from overseas bidders who plan to file an Item Not Recieved dispute and get both the item (eventually) and a refund.
