how to start selling

would like to list and sell my first item but not sure where to start. seems like to much information. this is difficult for people with basic or less p.c skills. Is there a step by step teaching guide or did I miss that one all to gether?

Up in the top right corner there is a tab marked Sell.

There is a dropdown called Sell An Item. Read it. Print it out. Read it again.

Now.

Choose the (low value) item you plan to sell. Write a description. Photograph or scan it. Load the picture onto your PC.

Go to Sell again. Ignore the drop down and open the Sell Your Item form that will appear.

See where it says Start Selling?  Enter a one or two word description.

You will get suggested categories. Choose one.

And off you go.

One bit of advice:

When you get to Shipping click on Options and scroll down . Open Measurements and choose metric. Canada Post went metric in 1974 and anything else you use will be inaccurate.

And:

If your item sells, and only 40% of listings do,  Paypal will hold the payment against your good performance for 21 days, another reason to start with low value items.
