is there a way to determine cost through global shipping program

If buy it now price is $400 with global shipping at $66 and I win auction at $150 is it safe to think global shipping will be lower

around $25 instead of $66. It all seems too sketchy

The 'import fee' is made up of Canadian duty, Canadian sales taxes and a $5 ish service fee to Pitney Bowes who run the program as well as the actual shipping cost.

So the shipping portion won't change and the service fee won't change. But both duty and taxes are based on a percentage of the value of the item.

So yes, the import fees should be lower.

Note that the duty applies to items not manufactured in a NAFTA country. Nothing to do with where you bought it.

And used items are still taxable, although not usually dutiable.
